Sorry to ask again, but is the 5.1 mix on the new 4K BD and/or the iTunes master, which claims to be the original mix, actually identical to the DTS-preservation?
Wondering which is the best audio experience.

Certainly nothing to suggest there a different mix. Ive not viewed the whole 4K remaster yet, but from what I have it did sound the same

One must note that the IMAX shots in all of Nolan films on UHD have been zoomed-in/cropped on all four sides than the Blu-ray. The Blu-ray IMAX shots are the widest, attached with the films that is.

I finally capped my itunes copy. I got to say I think I'd love a constant 2.35 version, in contrast to the official shifting aspect ratio

Yes. I'm a big fan off this version.
Having both options available on a disc would of been the way to go in my opinion. (Also an option with the full frame IMAX sequences pillerboxed, rather than the 16.9 crop.)

It's contant AR cinemascope all the way for me too
 It was a very nice 35mm presentation from what little I can remember of it now. |
