[No Longer Available] Alien Regrade (Fox THX Laserdisc)
Maybe Interstellar and Godzilla 2014 can get their own threads so we can keep this one flowing.

Cheers PDB, on a great Alien project, watched and loved it.

Thanks alex, jetrell and marin. There are a few things to fix for another version but overall I'm pretty happy. More updates later.

Phoenix I don't have the file uploaded anymore but maybe someone can send a spleen link

PDB: Thanks but I do not have a SPLEEN account, what's up with using USENET?
It's able to store huge files anonymously, pretty much indefinitely as well.

I went to SPLEEN but if I remember, it was a closed community not taking applications.

Thanks! BTW - Great work so far, any news when your release might be due?
Any reason you can't upload the audio? I mean, it should be small since it's audio, right?

OR - Is there simply a place I can get the full release that you say you're happy with?
If I had that, not only could I see your regraded version but I would have the audio I've
been looking for as well. Someone should really post this to USENET like they did with
STAR WARS so it's accessible to as many people as possible, unless you don't want it that way?

Thanks!

Sorry phoenix, I'm am not a usenet person and haven't been since my UNIX using days. As for the soundtrack, maybe someone will separate it out for you eventually.

Myspleen is a invite only site.  Too many hit n runners left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths.  When I saw my invitees doing it I stopped giving invites as well as did other members.

As for this, only 2 posts in and you're asking for things? My suggestion to you is to spend some time here. Let people get to know you. Contribute if you can as well. If you've only joined to get things you came to the wrong place for that.

I'm not trying to be mean, just realistic.

Quoted for truth.

Jetrell perfectly encapsulates my thoughts. I'd give any files or any help I can to members of this forum but I want them to be active members.

Fair enough. So who is a fan of Dr. Caligari 1989?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097228/

I have the extremely rare laserdisc.

I also have the director's WIDESCREEN cut of Lawnmower Man on laserdisc,
something that still has not been released yet.

I also have the German DVD of "The Intruder Within", a movie that has a special part
in my heart since I was a kid. It was released on TV but a few years ago, on German DVD
but only with Germ audio for some stupid reason. I bought the BETA cassette and was going
to use the audio from that, best audio available, and combine it with the German DVD video
but the jerk who I trusted to deliver the beta cassette to my friend with the encoding hardware
lost or stole it and so I only have the DVD with German video now. There are versions on the
net that appear to be ripped from VHS that the English audio could be grabbed from though but
I've really been hoping someone has the BETA so that the best audio could be used.Cool

I actually am quite a film buff and have some stuff the group may be interested in.Cool

PDB: So I take it you do not want your ALIEN REGRADE released publically like, for instance,
the Star Wars 35mm releases?
