Okay I installed and registered it using their official installer instead of the bundleware installer from giveawayoftheday.com. Looks like it's only registered for 1 year not for lifetime.

Offers don't necessarily have to be from giveawayoftheday.com, though of course they might be. Please note that I don't intend to download everything that gets posted here, and so I can't always endorse/recommend the software or field questions about it.

Fair enough! But it's still free, and six months is enough time for a beginner to learn the ropes and complete a project, so I hope someone still finds it useful.
