Which one would you say is better, didn't realise the slight framing difference when watching between them. Assumed same transfer just different color timing. Maybe prefer the contrast / brightness of the French but the colors appear to be a little on the strong side. Haven't had time to compare fully with the hd-dvd but assume grain retention is better on the hd-dvd. Also, assuming the hd-dvd is a better match for alignment with the open matte.

HDDVD is better than others in general. French one has too much contrast. HDTV open matte was made from the same original transfer as HDDVD and US BD but without constant saturation inreasing.

Same thoughts, Hd-dvd is the best, but I did like the darker tone of the French. Have you had any luck in finding a second source to remove the remainder of the logo.

There is a German 35mm trailer at eBay, ending in 6 hours...

It's really hard to find a second source. The movie is rarely shown on TV and not included to subscriptions at stream services.
Sample of hybrid with HDDVD: 🔍http://sendfile.su/1393774 The HDTV quality is too low in some shots. Thanks given by: X5gb

I'll try to keep an eye if it's going to be in Polish TV anytime soon. Last time it was shown in December.

Sample looks good to me. Maybe not perfect in a couple of shots like the lampshade in the background but better than nothing. Can't wait to see it complete.

It will be on the Paramount Network channel on the 26 of January.
My cable provider only carries it in low quality so it would be best if someone else was able to record it. Otherwise, it was on two Canadian channels in the last year that I'm able to capture in high quality. There will probably be another broadcast but it may take a while. |
