So firstly I guess I need to re-encode one source to match the others format and fps.
Then I'll need to mask one video over the other to remove most of the logo.
Then finally, as there will still be a bit of the StarzEncore logo showing, I'll need to remove it somehow.

This is where I need your expert help on what programs to use and how best to use them.

I'm waiting one of local channels to show it again which always show it open matte with only a logo at top left, but typically they haven't shown it since the STARZ was available.

Also it censors a couple of bits so hoping they are not during when STARZ has it's intermittant logo.

Once this gets shown I will do my own logo free version.

All US versions I've seen including Freeform have a logo in the same place.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) HybridRip 1080p For the source we thank TeamHD and maksnew for explanations from the author of the source: • Source video WEB-DL Amazon US Channel AMC +. • The original video had duplicate frames, and some frames were also dropped. • Removed duplicated frames resulting from incorrect changes in frame rate 23.976-> 24. • Missing frames were taken from the STARZ source. • For the Premier Multimedia track, thanks to pussen64. • Track # 4 compiled from a clean voice. • Open Matte version of the film, has a larger content of the frame compared to Blu-ray.

Replaced commercial fade outs of AMC + with STARZ source.

I removed 2 seconds of remaining STARZ logo (using mask and mixture of removing fade out, key frame movement and frame hold in Premiere) as it appeared during AMC + fade out (thankfully only time).

I also added some Super35 grain using Filmconvert in Premiere.

Frame matched to Blu-ray.

PDB, I also tried out your YAO subs on it from your Top Gun project but unlike that, FBDO’s 2.39:1 ratio version isn't always centered in the middle and head’s etc were getting cut off in certain scenes so had to abandon that idea. My original version also had custom DTS-HD MA 5.1 (from True-HD 5.1), the laserdisc 2.0 track from here along with the rare John Hughes commentary from original Region 1 dvd release.

Yeah I find that true of a few 16:9 open mattes. It works on TG and Skyfall since both are mostly top and bottom crops. But things I have tried like Fight Club and Abyss it works less since those are reframed per shot like I'm sure FB is.

Also credit where credit is due the YAO subs are spoRv's creation

I did find an open matte version without STARZ or any logos - its also better quality as has a bit more grain on it ? it was from a torrent though ?
