UHD BD to BD?

I have no idea how that works. To make sure that no scenes turn wrong, we'll have to convert a complete movie, familiar enough like Die Hard, to see if we can spot some.

Not as pinkish/orangy/salmony skintones as with MadVR and a bit brighter. OK, now that I've tested a few clips, I'm adopting this new toy.

Again, Ripbot betters the Madvr especially in that last screenshot. So glad I found out about this tool thanks to BS forum.

Looking better but I think the brightness could come down a notch or two and just maybe one more notch of colour (on the other hand it maybe one notch too far). The madvr is the opposite, needs a notch or two down on the colour and a notch or two up on the brightness.

I had no idea there was an automatic tool that did these conversions so well. I'll be playing around with RipBot when I have some free time.

I was really expecting weird modified avisynth scripts and such being necessary.

I just want to throw in Hybrid from Selur.

http://www.selur.de/downloads

The GUI is a mess, but very powerful.
There are two types of HDR-to-SDR-conversion under the Vaporsynth tab.
Maybe you want to try that too.

Beber can you post the raw HDR captures in their full bitdepth (PNG)?

You'll have to wait for tonight (France time). I'm at work right now.

So do these apps (like ripbot) use the HDR metadata to conform the output?
