Okay, so I just watched the whole thing and it's pretty cool to see it like that. However I noticed a few "glueing" or overlaying issues in the couple of shots below. We can clearly see where the two sources are joined and that's jarring. I suggest you keep your best open matte source for these two shots as is, without using the overlaying method, 'cause it's too on the nose right now.





Less jarring are the end credits, 'cause it's just the end credits, so who cares. Anyway, while at it, I might as well attract your attention to it: every name that crosses the red line (see above) has a little hiccup, where the sources are glued together. So maybe go with the untouched best open matte you got for the whole sequence, too:

I think I saw one last night when skipping through it, in the desert dream, but it was on the bottom area this time. However, when watching the whole thing today, I didn't spot it.
I also saw one near the end, on top, when the police squad come to arrest Lex in the filthy pool. But those two were not as on the nose as these above, so I gave 'em a pass.

Right. I see what you mean. It's also grainier/noisier right at the frontier between the 2. I wonder if that's what happened to the close-up shot of Martha Wayne "dying in the gutter for no reason at all". There's a weird amount of grain or noise on her face.

Alright, I need some technical direction. I've burned dozens of Blu-rays creating images/folders with both multiavchd and tsmuxer, but this one is giving me issues. For whatever reason, the fps is 23.8 or something (which I didn't know was a thing), and tsmuxer won't read that, and multiavchd doesn't (for whatever reason) doesn't support TrueHD. I reencoded a few times in handbrake with the correct fps, but then tsmuxer said it won't support this video format or that video format (tried a few and not sure which ones don't work).

Long question short: if any of you are burning to disc, exactly how are you doing it? I feel like an idiot asking, as I've made quite a few in my time, but I really want to stop doing hours-long encodes because the non-existent fps is messing with it
