Might be good to keep your version in existence if only because it has the old colors. Always worth preserving the different masters imo.
Also is it confirmed that all the IMAX scenes in the new master are less cropped compared to say your version on all sides?

Oh Yeah, I have it saved on 3 different hard drives just in case.
From what I checked so far the new IMAX frames are way larger than what I had.

Potentially, but you should keep the v3 that you have now available, that way we could have an 4K HDR version (since the 1.43:1 imax footage is only available in 4K HDR), using the new disc, and then have a HD SDR version that’s just the latest current version of this project.

4k hdr can be cropped and converted to sdr, we'll see.

Fair enough, I await this new version! I wonder if we could color match the old UHD bd and then overlay it over the new UHD (cropped) that way we don’t loose any quality for cropping.

Although is there any way you could please just re upload this again? It seems counter intuitive to have this thread marked as “released” yet you’re not providing it to anyone.

I mean no disrespect, I sincerely apologize if it came off that way. I do hope you re-upload in the future however, and I have proved proof of purchase in the past on this forum before a few pages back. Although in the meantime, if it’s not to much to ask, would anyone else who has this possibly be willing to send me the project?
