a few month ago the movie was aired on german tv in it's uncut version,
which is not available on home video anywhere. the movie was shown in sd and hd,
though i believe the hd version just an upconvert. anyway, i've captured both streams
now i wondered if we can create a version without a logo and with english audio.
what ya say?

The replace with english letter (instead german) may be the only video correction; also, I think the unrated shots are with no dialogs; if so, reconstruct the english track should be quite simple.
May you post the same frame from the SD broadcast? Dose the logo stay in the same place for the whole movie?

as for the logo: it stays in the same place. only at the beginning there is some text floating on the screen for a few seconds,
in there scene after the opening credits, when the camera moves into the window.
also the on screen text and credits are in german, including opening logo from paramount pictures.

For the small "HD" below "BR", I think there will be no problems to delete it using the SD version; about "BR", don't know if it's possible to wipe it out completely... but, because difference from the cut and uncut version is just few shots, it could be done "by hand" - if someone have some time and patience to do it...

The original/ remastered [Blu-ray] versions = 480i/ p | 1,85:1 (16:9) | 108:51min
German TV [BR] version = [1280x]720p | 1,33:1 (4:3 master, open matte)
The HD version is indeed upscaled (no HD master, no native HD broadcaster), runtime 104:10min w/o closing credits (end intertitle 103:58min). It was broadcasted for the first time after 12y on July 13, 2014. A few days later an upgraded [unrated] dual audio Blu-ray version was released "by Ailine" and Deafmobil. — This version is still available in the P2P community. (source: ofdb.de & eselkult)
Tech specs: [1280x]720p | 16:9 | 109:01min | 4,22GB | MKVmerge 7.0.0 | AVC | 5750Kbps | 23.976fps | AC-3/ 192Kbps | 3,84GB video stream | GER subs

Hi. Is anybody doing this project ? It'll be nice if so that'll be nice. Does anybody know where can a good (and uncompressed) version of the german broadcast can be found (the quality possible ?
Also, is there a HD (or close to) version of the american/british release that is open matte and can be found ?
Thanks to answer

I did this: https://fanrestore.com/thread-1214.html
I used an SD version of the German broadcast, but, as stated, the HD version is probably just an upconvert.
Unfortunately, I don't think there's an HD open matte version, best I know is laserdisc. Interestingly enough, I used to have a VHS that showed the in-camera mattes in the shower scene while the LD zooms it.

Do you have this upgraded version ? It'll be a good occasion to share it here.
