I'm not keen on what they've done with the chestburster scene. Seems like it's been darkened and desaturated to make the blood appear more 'realistic'. This is apparent on my HDR TV as well as the caps. I don't recall it looking this way in the 4K DCP.

I did read all that over ad BD.com, but it's still mind boggling Fox simply upscaled the DC footage direct from the compressed BD footage, instead of going back to the Lowry based (supposidly 4k) master or even a 2k DI (still more resolution than BD and uncompressed) and start from there.

Any idea what this professional software he speaks of to convert UHD to SDR?

He as in the person who converted the UHD and uploaded the images. I already tried resolve and it won't except these UHD BDs, even remuxed to other containers. Unless it's just the free version that will not except those yet.
