[No Longer Available] Star Trek VI 2.00 Theatrical Cut (Project CRT #3)
#11
I have the "Special Home Video Version" VHS, and if I remember correctly that uses the TC editing for everything, other than the added scenes of course.
Finest kind.

I can grab hold of the original non-SE DVD if it helps. I do have a copy of the Phillip's CDI copy here as well if you want a copy of that..

I have the original Star Trek VI DVD if it is still needed. Also, wow, I'd love to see this project. Star Trek VI is possibly my favorite Trek film and yes, it's been treated poorly in HD. It's also really discouraging that Paramount hasn't released it yet with the other 4K titles...like...why??

Cry HAVOC and let slip the dogs of war!

Thanks for the offer boris but Bigrob was able to offer me a copy some years(s) ago. That was back when I was going to do four versions of this movie (2.00 TC, 2.39 TC, 2.00 DC, 2.39 DC) but only everĀ ended up finishing the 2.00 TC. Still have the files I believe.

Sadly, I don't think I have this project hosted online anymore. I'll check to make sure.

I thought Paramount was going to release the ST movies in phases and ST6 is in the second phase. Maybe someone else can speak about that.

Also heard that a remaster of ST6 was coming. Should definitely be a huge improvement over the dated master.

I think Paramount did a decent job on the first four, so if they can maintain that standard or better, we're in for a treat. Sad that they've all gotten the 7.1 tracks only, but they are pretty good tracks. I still keep meaning to rip and sync the STVI DVD's AC3 track but it's low on my list.

I have Chewtobacca's version of the HDTV if anyone does really need it in the interim (wouldn't be as good as this was, but it has LD audio synced, and matted to proper 2.39:1 aspect ratio), but remasters of this and V should hopefully be coming soon enough given they released the others.
