[Request] The Fifth Element full screen R1 DVD

The original R1 release was a flipper with widescreen on Side A and fullscreen 4:3 on Side B.

I tried and failed to buy one off eBay by purchasing based on UPC. It turns out that they re-used the same UPC for the 2007 HD remastered DVD that is widescreen-only.

Finding someone who will ship outside the US for a reasonable cost is also an issue.

Does anyone here still own this old release?

I assume the full frame 4:3 is not open matte, but matted on the sides?
If it is open Matte, I would love to see that, too.

live action shots are open matte but the SFX shots are cropped down. 

It's like a reverse IMAX screening. all the boring stuff is immersive but the exciting stuff is cropped by 50% lol

I had actually considered that in the past...

drngr have you looked at the open matte HDTV broadcast? Its like Rob said, open for non-SFX shots but cropped for the rest.
