Program material is recorded on the other side of this disc...

According to The Digital Bits, Bad Lieutenant was originally mono in theaters. Does that make the audio from the LaserDisc a new mix?

It could just be mislabeled 2.0 mono. As far as I can tell, the jacket doesn't even mention the channel count. There does appear to be some sort of stereo information in the track, but it could merely be caused by playing mono on a stereo head. |
