[In progress] Felidae 35mmized AI upscale

Let's work together to let them play nicely in sync; I guess I have to slowdown ENG and SPA subs to 24fps, then put the others in sync. Right?

Thanks spoRv! Yep that's exactly the truth I believe.

they seems all OK - Italian was the hardest to put in sync, BTW! Big Grin

But you should check the sync nevertheless...

Thanks spoRv! Jumped through the movie a bit and they all seem to be in sync, so I'll include them in the project. Smile

For the English...  One thing I can help out with is fixing up/polishing English subs. While I'm not a grammarian, people seem to think the things I spot to improve do indeed result in better, more readable English subtitles. (I'm currently going through an online pal's 1980 Mighty Atom/Astroboy series to polish...)

Also, I've never seen this movie even though it exudes being my kind of film. (I grew up watching the likes of Watership Down, The PD, and more of the like, did a "less filler/more intense" fan-edit of Benji, etc.; I guess this film just never got a presence in the US as I never heard of it until recently despite me working around art house/foreign/rep movie theaters since being a teen.)

So, I offer being a first-time watcher who could, as soon as tonight, do any improvements to the Eng subs that jump out at me while watching as a surely-immersed viewer.

If I'm too new here to be trusted or my offer is not needed (perhaps the Eng subs are all perfectly timed and everything else) then no prob. Smile (I'll throw out here that I've been reading here at Fanres a lot since this site opened, but am just more an OT.com active member, with 75 posts over there, helped with projects there, etc.)

@WXM If you can and want to improve on the English subtitles, go ahead, spoRv posted the link to his synced versions. Thanks for the offer.

Get the free tool SubtitleEdit, it can do everything.

TomArrow, would you happen to know if Felidae on Prime Video is the same source as the DVD? For some reason it is currently unavailable in my region.

Great that you are preserving such a gem of 90's German Animation.
When this disc hits 8800 RPM, you're gonna see some serious shit.
