MisterXDTV on BR shared with me this LD's AC-3 5.1 synced to UHD. It sounds... vicious. I'd be happy to share.
Speaking of, I remember seeing spectrograms of both the PCM 2.0 and AC-3 5.1 on this forum somewhere (can't find it now). IIRC the AC-3 had its high frequencies cut off at a much lower point than the PCM. I think I still prefer the AC-3 though. Wondering if anyone more knowledgable could explain why the apparent filtering didn't have too big of an effect.

I'd be very interested in the AC3 from the LD axeyou please.
I'm new here and only started syncing from raw captures so I don't have many OG tracks.

I have the raw 1998 THX DVD audio, which is apparently the exact same audio track as the LaserDisc AC3 5.1.
I can send it to you by request.
Anyways, can you please PM me this PCM 2.0 track for the UHD sync? And can you please do an additional sync to the Special Collector's Edition Fullscreen DVD (my preferred version)?

Does anyone have the 2.0 Mix from the 1998 DVD of Top Gun? The 2.0 Mix on the 2004 SCE DVD seems to be the original theatrical Dolby Mix, while the 2.0 mix from the 1995 Laserdisc seems to be remixed. The 1998 WS/FF (Open Matte) DVD is a port of the 1995 Laserdisc, from what I read.
