Aye, that looks much better. *cogs turning* It hasn't totally removed the imbalance but it's now so minor that I wouldn't even notice it in normal circumstances, I think. But with the LD as-is, I definitely spend a lot of the runtime going "this is really pink isn't it?"

Does anybody happen to still have toot and/or abdespot for me to give this a try? @
I have 3 copies of BATB:WIP now to see if I can't average them for one good archival/viewing copy. But toot has been offline for years and apparently it was crashy last time it was available, which I'm kind of worried about...

I have "TooT_Test_Kit.zip" from 2004. Haven't messed with it in ages so not positive if it's what you fully need, but if you want to look...

I never ended up doing LD capturing, just VHS, so I ended up flogging "Average" rather than "Toot" for upping the quality of my caps...so I didn't keep up with Toot's updates. Kind of a miracle I kept this all these years actually. Hopefully that version indeed works okay for you if no one sends you the final version.
Does this mean you got more (rotted [very discounted?]) copies of the BatB LD to cap and try toot on?

One may even be a late one from the replacement programme so I'm vaguely hoping it might not be anywhere near as rotted...

Over the years surely people have done this and shown their work on the 'net and I've just missed their threads, but other than the example shown within the zip I've never seen anyone make a serious attempt to use toot for repair. I'm trying to temper my excitement but I'm pretty sure I've managed to find a rot-free copy of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST: WORK IN PROGRESS here. Capturing now. I have 3 copies in total so I'm going to try the two out of three approach but if one of them is basically perfect I might just end up using that capture as-is. We'll see.
