Like this DVD version (with 1.33:1 aspect ratio and original mono audio) a lot, and I made it to the European cut!

Interesting! How did you find making the cuts/edits? I was thinking of trying one with the UHD but not sure how possible it would be..

This page lists all the (rough) cutting point: https://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=1215 You need an European cut source for reference, and find the acurate point by comparing images and feeling the rythm.

I wish there could be a way of editing Dolby Vision 4K UHD - then I would definitely have my European cut in the best quality

The Official and Unofficial releases are for discussion and information about non-project releases. Well its suppose to be.
Since you created the EC cut from existing material, I think that makes it a project. It pretty much fits my description of a project. Good job BTW, I've heard a lot about that cut but never seen it. Thanks given by: xwang3633

The european version appeared on DVD and Blu-ray in Europe. Why not get one and make sure your unique version is in sync?
I own the first R1 box set with all the LD ports and it remains the best Kubrick release to this day. Original mono mixes in both english and french, and full frame IMAX style images.
