I just happened to be an older kid.

Well I suppose I'm gald that someone liked it. As for the JP series - where was the protagonist? Why didn't they at the very least replace his character with another then?

I personally thought Jurassic World was terrible, and by terrible I mean in the same vein as the other sequels to the series.

Although we had some beats which reminded us of the grandeur of the park in the first one ultimately it fell short of being a great movie. I had such high hopes with the acting talent they had in the movie. It was disappointing to see the character development in the movie was paper thin and as per usual the dinosaurs played centre stage.

A missed opportunity and for me I'm worried about the same guy doing a Star Wars movie.

That summarizes it for me. It wasn't bad but wasn't anything special. In general better then T5 or The Avengers 2 but far from Mad Max: FR or Mission Impossible: Rouge Nation. Pratt is a great lead but seemed bored here compared to GOTG.

I saw it in theatres in 3D, and I .. well kinde liked it. Just enough geeki rememberings, and the Musik. I really love the original Park tune, and it was well used in Jurassic World.

Yesterday I watched it on 2D BluRay. Well with my small 32 inch TV it was no visual experience, compared to the big screen. But, I am happy that my next door neighbor wasn't home. Somehow I only could started one Subwoofer, I think the remote for the second is empty, but I tuned it a bit up, and selected the 7.1 english audio track.
Well my living room is not big, so the 7 Teufel Speaker (C/L/R/SR/SL/BR/BL) and the 300Watt (600Watt short term) Subwoofer were blasting me away. The use of the subwoofer was extremely well balanced, and it just sounded like big screen. Expecially the appeareance of the T-Rex was very intense. And the fine tunes of the original Musik at the old JP Center were as fine as they should be.
Audio wise the BD is really stunning.

I enjoyed the movie for what it is, a popcorn flick roller coaster ride. All the nods to the earlier movies were great although I could have done without the Indian Pilot owner guy ... LOL.

Yeah. The "rich, owning" guy, as rich, powerfull and Park Owning may be needed in some kind, but this guy was kind of the jarjar binks of Jurassic World...
