The German DVD only has German audio, no original audio here.
French DVD really might be the most valid option so far for "Just Heroes".

Thanks for the offer Bilbofett but I have my own bit-perfect capture setup, plus this is a PAL system LD so I don't think your admittedly awesome player can play it. You don't by any chance have any MUSE discs do you?

No I don't collect MUSE/Hi-Vision, I have absolutely no way to play them and they are usually very pricey. It's a shame the project to convert MUSE discs to digital over at the lddb forum has stalled, as there are some interesting titles and as a format it will almost certainly be obsolete soon without the means to play or display these discs. All that has come of the project so far is a capture of part of the Jurassic Park release.

There's a bunch of older HK movies that sound the best on LD but I'm always looking for martial arts movies (mainly HK) when I'm sorting through used dvds because so many of these movies are hard or impossible to find online and they can often have very good transfer onto DVD. But video/audio quality varies wildly on these releases and often there's tons of bootlegs on the market mixed in.
Just ran into a retail copy of Wing Chun ('96 NTSC DVD) - Video on this sucks, but the audio is incredible compared to the PAL disc. Fortunately, the PAL disc isn't interlaced and looks significantly better so the two can be mixed together.

I just got hard boiled from Spain.
I knew it was a bootleg and no issues there for me, but it's an actual BD-R with a printed label and the same old ass master.
