AFAIR theatrical cut was only Dolby Stereo, hence any release with more than 4(.1) channels should be thought as remix. Or not?

Judging by the film posters it would appear that Sony's US release was Dolby Stereo/SDDS whilst Buena Vista's international release was Dolby Digital Stereo 5.1.

Was the Extended / International / Integral / "Director's" Cut the version that was screened theatrically outside of US?

Only in France and not until 1996.

The "theatrical cut" is the cut that was released worldwide in 1994/5.

I can't find many 35mm film cell images online. But the ones there are only have an optical stereo track.

Nobody has synced the 24bit/96hz 5.1 bluray audio to the UHD, have they?

I remember having the original 1998 DVD back in the day and the DD 5.1 track was very good!

It would be nice to know how it compares to latter 5.1 incarnations (which I believe were remixes). The DVD also had a 2.0 audio, but I don't remember giving it a chance.

Does anyone have the USA LD [74746] capture for the TC?

Have it on hold at the library . Should have it by tomorrow. Also picked up singles 1992 blu-ray to sync to the LD .will probably never watch it but meh whatever. Hopefully my blu-ray drive won't act up again .

At some point I'll pick up either the French or Japanese Extended LD and see if one of our members will kindly capture. There are plenty of both of ebay and they aren't too expensive. Won't be until next year though.
