[Help] The Ugly Dachshund - Original Mono

So I purchased the R1 DVD to sync the audio to the HD web-dl. However when it arrived, I noticed that despite the listing and even the back of the box, it had a DD 5.1 track and no mono/stereo. I thought maybe I had some newer issue but I came across this review that also mentioned their copy having 5.1 despite the case saying it was mono.
Does anyone know if there's a release with the original mono? It never had a LD release, and I'm not holding my breath for a BD. There was a VHS release, but I'd rather not go that route as I don't know about the audio quality on it, and I'm not equipt to capture it if anyways.
If anyone has any more info on foreign DVDs (or the ability to do a good VHS transfer if it comes down to that) let me know. I'd really like to restore the audio to this very underrated Disney film.

According to this: https://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/f...p?fid=5874 All the other DVDs have 5.1 soundtracks as well.

I can get the VHS for cheap on eBay. It's not a HiFi soundtrack, but it looks like the only available source. I'd be willing to buy and ship it to someone in the US if anyone is willing to do a digital transfer.

There might be a digital/WEB-DL out there that has the mono, maybe the Amazon Video version? I believe when you play some movies there back on a browser and not outputting the HDMI to a 5.1 system, that it will play an alternate mix which is usually the stereo or mono mix.

ABM's 1080p release (The.Ugly.Dachshund.1966.1080p.AMZN.WEB-DL.DDP2.0.x264-ABM.mkv) has a DD 2.0 track. It might be dual channel mono. I don't know.

Edit: For some reason the title was coming up in Dutch, fixed it.

Do you have a good link? The only place I can find a 1080p release has no seeds. I currently have the 720p FGT web-dl, which has the same 5.1 remix as the DVD.
