Here it comes. For more information, see here: https://fanrestore.com/thread-6390.html
... with a trailer I recreated for the occasion, or at least a look-alike with some liberties I had to take:
Video: 2009 Warner Blu-ray plus one shot taken from the UHD, the whole thing regraded to emulate the look of an original 35mm film print from 1995.
Audio: English Dolby TrueHD 5.1, English dts HDMA 5.1, English Dolby 5.1, French Dolby 5.1, French dts 5.1, German Dolby 5.1, Spanish Dolby 5.1, Portuguese Dolby 2.0 surround, commentary by Michael Mann.
Subtitles: French (rearranged), English SDH, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, German, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish #1, Spanish #2, Swedish, English and French for the commentary.
Available on demand to regular members, meaning no newbies who need to get involved before asking for stuff.

A little update. I was given the Laserdisc track adjusted for this cut after the fact, so it is included now, along with an additional French subtitle track specifically for this optional audio track since it reinstates two extra lines from the theatrical cut.

It looks really good, one of the best action movies ever that inspires me as a filmmaker. Love the regraded look

I wouldn't call it an action movie, though. Except for the quick opening masked robbery and the huge gunfight in the street happening about an hour later, it's mostly a nearly 3-hour dialogue driven crime drama.

The 1st version of Heat was the 1989 TV Film : L.A. Takedown
Can't believe DiCaprio and Mann are working together to finally create HEAT 2 ...just cannot believe its happening man. Awesome

This looks absolutely fantastic! I wonder how it would perform on a projector.

It performs pretty well on mine, I can tell you that much. Of course, with a projector, you need to be in the right conditions of darkness and contrast, and the result will vary more than on a TV set depending on said conditions.

Hi Beber -- does this release include the Laserdisc audio? I am working on the VHS audio capture and sync, and would love to have the LD audio alongside the VHS and Japanese GENEON audios. Thank you in advance!
