So, after a few weeks I finished regrading this. Now gone is that orange push. Blues are blue, and everything looks as it should.
I used the wowow HDTV as reference (but not as a matching reference). I regraded the frames in photoshop to look as the wowow reference, and then Dre’s colormatch to create the LUTs. Finally, DaVinci Resolve to load to apply the LUTs, and some minor corrections. A couple of scenes and a few shots here and there looked already good, so no need to regrade those.
The source was, of course, the Paramount BluRay (so 1080p).
Size: 36.3 GB
Audio: DTS Master Audio
DTS Core
AC3 (640 kbps)
Subtitles: English, Spanish
A gallery (70 pics) here: Gallery
For more subtitles, use opensubtitles, for example, to find the one you want.
You can find it on katcr dot co ( kickass torrents) (it’s ok to say where as long as I don’t post any links, right?).
PM if you need a link or whatever.

Definitely looks very nice. Comparing it to a 35mm trailer scan I've seen...
It looks like the color scheme is about right except far more saturated which I will say is a good thing since I'm fairly certain the trailer print scanned was faded.

It does look nice -- well done! Besides the wowow, did you refer at all to the 35mm scan that's floating around?

But I wouldn't trust a 100 % something that has to be color corrected BEFORE it's used as a reference. You always have to make some corrections to your own taste.

This is not the *right* approach, IMHO! (despite the fact your correction final colors are nice, though!)

When I regraded The return of the Jedi, it needed some corrections; gamma, saturation, color etc. Some scenes where so badly faded that I used the BluRay as reference. I mean, that was a pristine print, and it needed work (some scenes quite a lot). We want prints to know how films looked in the theaters... but what if those prints need some work in the first place?

The LPP scan floating around was unfaded and was corrected with an unfaded 8mm projection reference. Not nearly the same situation as ROTJ, which was entirely red faded and needed those colors retrieved. The Raiders LPP does have a problem and that's a slightly magenta staining that affects parts of reel 2 and 3. But even that can be looked past if using it as a visual reference. ROTJ even has a nearly reference quality LPP scan that for some reason hasn't been used as a reference yet.
Finest kind.

I'm not sure if we are talking about the same print (the one I've seen is still in processing at the Starwarstrilogy Forums). Keep in mind that I don't have access to myspleen (where everything is released, apparently ).

Ah, that would make sense. Yeah I'm talking about a released scan. In the starwarstrilogy thread you'll see some people refer to it as the Litemakr release, as he is of course the user who did the project. Here's a link to the project thread from OT: https://originaltrilogy.com/topic/RELEAS...0/id/51021
