In a Lonely Place (1950):
2003 R2 Sony/Columbia Tri-Star DVD audio synced to 2016 Criterion Blu-Ray
More detailed audio, see https://blah-ray.blogspot.com/search/lab...%281950%29
The A/D sync varies wildly in numerous scenes, for example the restaurant scene at 50:30, where the timing of the dialogue in relation to the sounds of the pianist in the background is completely different between the two. I have chosen to use the sync of the Columbia DVD in most of these instances as I feel it's A/D sync is more "correct". This is because I noticed in the shot at 2:10 where Dix steps out the car, you can see the boy in the background say "Can I have your autograph, mister?", and this line of dialogue is clearly out of sync on the Criterion blu, but perfect on the DVD.
