I have a RetroTINK 5X (inspired by the ESA speedrunning events) but I just need get used to handling the this Smart-Scaling contraption.
Used and captured via:
Tapes (used for preliminary tests):
Raintree County (1957) 1999 Roadshow VHS [P&S the Widescreen Pressing is hard to find nowadays].
South Pacific (1958) 1990 CBS/FOX VHS Main/End Titles for the 35mm Titles
in Letterbox format.
The Hallelujah Trail (1965) 1991 Extended VHS [P&S] 156 min (If the person excludes the Exit Music [Overture repeated in this place])
The Abyss (1989) 1990 CBS/FOX VHS [Second Pressing = Version B with 10-min credits rather than the Version A with 5-min credits]
Capture Software:
Bandicam
Somehow I got the feel this might be the fancy way to capture (From what I can see):
RetroTINK 5X: VHS/CED/VHD
RetroTINK 4K: Betamax/LaserDisc/D-VHS
Long short, I'll be looking forward in to upgrading my Analog Devices with AC-3/DTS Decoders and watching VHS/LDs with the RetroTINK 5X (VHS)/RetroTINK 4K (LD/Non-HDMI consoles) when I have sufficient funds and feel when the time is right to do so...
