ooh this is fabulous. I've recently become obsessed with learning about fan edits that recreate that IMAX experience at home (where the Blu-Ray offers no such aspect ratio switching) - I saw one version of this that had subtitles simply layed over the hard coded Russian (I think) subs and while it worked... it was obviously messy. This sounds fabulous!
