I have that 3D tape myself! They also released a 3D tape of It Came from Outer Space, which I've been hunting for years myself.
Viability of cheap VHS capture

While I wait I guess I can ask this in the meantime. Once I have the remote what are the preferred settings I should set the DVD-Recorder to?? Thanks.

Finally got the remote (it came from China hence the wait). Is there anyone who can answer my question from before?? SpoRv?? Anyone?? Thank you again.

My Panny is disconnected since a long time... but I don't remember any particular settings; if you would like to take screenshots of the menus you like to obtain settings, post them here.

I'll see what I can do. This is mostly in regards to what someone said on VideoHelp.
"If I remember correctly, once the unit is set up all you have to do is turn it on. But you'll need the remote to get it set up -- setting the input and output levels, turning off the noise filter, etc. I believe the pass-through line TBC is active all the time."
thinking of syncing up blue ray audio on some older movies w vhs tho its probably a waste of time when there's laserdisc tracks tho nobody seems to ever upload them.. I remember movies like raising Arizona , pet sematary, naked gun 2 1/2 and die hard sounded better on vhs tho I had some pretty nice speakers then

You could always invest few bucks in a cheap LD player, LD software and capture card - they are really cheap in many cases, and LD discs have almost always a PCM track that sounds better than VHS Hi-Fi track.

Here's a suggestion I got from VideoHelp:
Quote:Press the Video button on the remote. Set Video -> Line In NR -> Off. Presently I'm not finding a listing for Line in NR. Which for which should I have lighter or darker?? I've tried hooking everything up. Currently testing with WinTV-950q. Video still looks fuzzy in the bottom half as before. Further more am I hooking everything up right?? I have one of these cables connected to the DVD Recorder (https://www.amazon.com/Wyvern-Triple-Ste...15&sr=8-15) with one loose end hooked to a composite cable and the VCR and the other loose end hooked to another composite cable and my USB Capture device.
