[Released] The Color Of Night (1994) Uncensored Director's Cut (1080p)
#1
...or if you like, "Meat Popsicle Edition".

Hey guys.

Not much to say about this one. I don't think there are many fans of this film, one of those guilty pleasure kind of films for me, perhaps for some of you too.
Here it is in all it's glory, fully uncut and uncensored. The way it should be.

For the missing/censored shots I used the euro DVD, AI upscaled/enhanced, then regraded to match the colors of the bluray, and regrained for consistency.
That's pretty much all about it.
I corrected the contrast, and colors a little bit.

Why use a DVD for the uncensored parts? Is the director's cut Blu-ray not complete? The Blu-ray edition contains 2 discs: one theatrical, one director's cut. It seemed to me the director's cut was the uncensored cut.

It is censored (digitally zoomed so it doesn't show Bruce's meat popsicle), and is also missing a few more shots from the pool scene and another scene later in the film. Only the euro dvd dir. cut is fully uncut and uncensored.

Oh, I see. Didn't know that. And since the Blu-ray master looks terrible anyway, I guess the DVD footage blends in pretty well.

It does. I added grain to match the look of the bluray, that helps a lot.
