Is anyone interested in “Family Friendly” edits of films. I recently re-edited Beetlejuice and Ghostbusters for my 10yr old niece so she could watch them with her parents. Took out the majority of swearing and anything sexually inappropriate/tricky for her age. I know for some this is sacrilege or super conservative. But just throwing it out there because it was kind of a fun challenge to edit. Haven’t uploaded them yet, but if anyone is interested I can get them ready and send a link.

I'd be up for that. Father of 3 boys (15, 10 and 8 )but would love to show them some of the more older stuff. They saw Predator Badlands last night so would to put on the original for them but with a few edits

Beetlejuice Family Edit
Removal of:
- Lydia talks about parents weird sex stuff while taking polaroids of ghosts in sheets
- Betelgeuse grabs his crotch and hoists it up in a slightly offensive manner (intended to be a middle finger-type gesture) after saying "Nice f*ckin' model!"
- A scene is shown in which Betelgeuse mentions that he hasn't gotten any "action" in 600 years, and then visits a brothel staffed by devil women who are scantily clad.
- Juno the case worker says she created the “whore house”
Ghostbusters Family Edit
Removal of:
- A ghost opens a man's pants and the scene insinuates there was oral sex.
- Dana in a revealing dress attempts to seduce Venkman by pulling him onto a bed and straddling him. Tells Venkman she “wants him inside her.”
- Removal of all “Shit’s and one “Bitch”
