The 2015 isn't the original colour at all, we have print scans we know this. Thanks given by: titanic

I have the 1993 Special Edition Laserdisc. All the releases from LDs to 2015 Blu-ray have a consistent look. The 2017 remaster introduced revisionist colour grading.

I have nearly every LD the first LD Squeeze release if a print scan, that's correct as are the film scans that exist. The home releases have never been correct on the whole. For the 1993 releases onwards they neutralised the lighting fully.

yeah the Squeeze LD is an answer print, not the final version, that makes it valuable but it's not the original movie.
Beber I think I have the Columbia DVD it's basically the R1 early DVD master in Pal format with some extra logos before. Thanks given by: SwatDB

I don’t know how the early R1 DVD looks like either. I guess I'll buy a second-hand copy of the Tri Star R2 DVD. Can you guys imagine, if Sony had kept the rights on this title, and the senile Canadian ex-filmmaker not being involved, how a 4K remaster would have turned out from Sony Pictures? What a shitty world this is when we're deprived of a transfer on par with "Starship Troopers", "The Mask of Zorro", "In the Line of Fire", "Groundhog Day", "Lawrence of Arabia", "Black Hawk Down", etc.!
As far, as I remember, all the known DVDs from the pre StudioCanal era used the same image master, and besides the german VCL DVD, all looked very similar.
Even the strange mastered first japanese DVD, with the movie files split in half, as if they mastered it from a two sided LaserDisc. Both halfs of the movie were on the same side of the DVD. The TriStar DVD from Finland/Norway/Sweden/Denmark is the same disc, as the french TriStar DVD, containing french Audio, and the four nordic subtitles. The only exceptions for the "first release DVD" rule are the German VCL DVD, that might use a different scan, and also had some coloring differences (I think the german Company just had the color grading set to "too warm"), and the russian Pioneer Panasonic DVD, that had a 1.33:1 aspect ratio image. Edit: The russian DVD was from Panasonic, not Pioneer. By Pioneer were the releases in Japan. Above scene fromt he russian DVD:
