Color and brightness 50/50 or around that, using the BD as the source. Even if it's not 50/50 just something that might work, that looks good.

I'll have to get this versione one of these days. One of my favourite movies. Is the audio jumpscare preserved when Snake finishes his conversation with Hauk just after landing on the World Trade Center? I remember some DVD release with a very toned down sound effect which basically destroyed an iconic jumpscare.

Can't remember that but, including English PCM laserdisc and AC3 HDTV tracks, probably you'll find it in one of this audio tracks!
I should check my DVD again. The 5.1 track didn't have a loud enough jumpscare, that's for sure, but I'm convinced that the 2.0 track on the DVD also had a different mix from what was basically the TV broadcast version (I'm referring to Italian TV)

Your hdtv version was better than original MGM Bluray in this regard but the Scream shows even more. Only thing is it has the following issues that need to be addressed to make it the essential version: 1, Brightness / contrast needs to be fixed as its too bright (Mgm release was too dark with black crush and zoomed aspect ratio) 2, Blue lines (print emulsion damage) need to be erased and fixed as much as possible in numerous scenes. 3, Blown Out David 14 computer graphic needs to be fixed 4, Moire effect behind Snake in Hauk's office makes the picture look like it is alive. 5, All tracks from original spoRv version need to be synced. Bring on spoRv V2.0.

Moved here, hope it will be OK for you X5gb!
About point 5) All tracks from original spoRv version need to be synced. may you explain this better? Are those tracks out of sync in the project, or should be sync'ed using the Scream BD as source? If it's the latter, if there are not added shots, I think to sync just the video.

Well, I'm used to those little differences... the difficult task if to find those 2 or 3 frames, inside a 150000 frame film!
Italian bluray has 2.0 DTS soundtrack, so the original mix... at least that's what I'm hoping to find
