I was really impressed by @izzybell using different sources to sync to best known versions of films available, so I decided to do Willy Wonka for fun.
1. Original Mono Mix [11206]
Only the right channel is used since it have more dynamic range than on the left channel. Had to make one patch, likely because of a reel change during the scene where Augustus is about to fall into the chocolate river, causing the audio to desync.
2. Original Mono Mix [11206] (Restored)
There seems to be an issue with the audio between the scene after the percentages scene up till the end of side 1 where it is much noisy, so I made a restoration using de-humming, de-noising and even de-noising the issue to match the rest of the film.
3. 1996 Dolby Surround Mix [14546]
Just a Dolby Surround downmix of the 1996 re-release 5.1 remix. More details below.
4. 1996 Dolby Surround AC-3 Digital Mix [14546]
The 5.1 remix when the film was re-released for its 25th anniversary. I couldn't confirm if this mix is better than on the first DVD release that came out a year after this LaserDisc, or later the 2001 release. When I checked the spectrogram, it seems to limit at 20kHz, so it should be good. I dunno if there exists Cinema DTS discs for this re-release since I haven't seen cells of the re-release prints yet. I do know that Warner Bros. might've gotten DTS during that time, since DTS Stereo was credited in Space Jam. Note that this a direct AC3 sync, with both sides cut using delaycut and merged using Audacity, exporting it as a .raw file, not a FLAC re-encode. I think this is what led to a remix for the 2006 HD-DVD, which was later copied to the 2009 BD to the UHD. Which is why I remember hearing a muffled cheer in that mix at the beginning of side 2 of both LDs, something that was not on the 1996 mix.
5. Music & Effects [14546]
This was never included in any DVD release after that, so this was a cool addition. This was advertised as "Music Minus Vocals" on this release.
and yes, all of them are synced to the UHD for your enjoyment.
