Apologies if this isn't the right place or manner to request these

I'm looking for the 16GB HDTV rips that were on usenet a few years back. They are 1080i and in the original aspect ratio, unlike some HDTV broadcasts of 3 which were cropped.

I believe the colours are superior to the blu ray, with a lot of detail being lost by blown out whites and other issues.

If anyone has these I would love to hear from them.

This subforum is for a complete project request; if you are after those sources, and if you have the best quality retail products - and I'm sure you have them - because you would like to do this project yourself, it's OK for the moment...

I was thinking to add something like "sources needed" subforum, to help a project maker who needs some particular sources, what do you think?

A "sources needed" subforum would be a great addition.
I normally put my source requests in with my "Proposal" or the "In progress" project thread.

Yeah I also think a sources needed subforum would be a good idea.

I have the blu rays and the DVD's for Superman I-IV. I believe these HDTV rips are the highest available quality of the masters used for the DVD's.

I have 2 and 3 at 720P. I can get you those if you want. I had 3 in 1080i but lost the file. I was in contact with a guy on F.E.org about part 2, he sent me screens and it looked great, but he stopped getting back to me and hasn't been online in months. I've never seen the ones for 1 and 4 at any size.
