Looks very good, reminds me of the Jurassic Park one on the Spleen
Is this complete Movie 4:3 Fullscreen or Open Matte?

BTTF was shot flat for 1.85 projection and protected for the 4:3 TV screens of the time. The 4:3 is open matte over the 1.85 except for the SFX shots with optical effects. Those are hard matted closer to 1.77 and show up as 1.85 on widescreen media.
This project upscales the 4:3 open matte DVD to 1080p but keeps black bars on the sides to maintain aspect ratio, essentially making the active picture area 1440x1080p for 98% of the movie and 1920x1080p at 1.85 for the SFX shots. As for getting the project, I'm sorry to say all the links and torrs are dead.

Will the sequels also get open matte upscales?
And I’ve loved every pixel of it.
