also nightmare 1,5,6 need the uncut versions and all the films need the original audio tracks

Keep in mind that color timings on the Bluray versions could be actually more theatrically accurate than early DVD releases. But amount of black crush is very high and it looks like it's beyond repair. Only way to fix it would be, pretty much, make new transfer from reel.

Nightmare 2 is on Netflix in the US. Does anyone know if it's from a master different than the blu?

I just looked at it and it appears to be the same master
