Hello, everyone!
So this is something of a mystery to me. When Disney released the Swedish dub of the Special Edition, they rerecorded the opening narration for some reason. I can certainly understand why they rerecorded the Swedish dub for Snow White, Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan, but the same can't be said about Beauty and the Beast and as of right now, the only way to see the true theatrical version is a Swedish pre-Special Edition VHS release. Let's change that.
Here is the official Swedish dub as heard on the official Blu-ray (and first premiered on the 11th of October, 2002).
And here is the first track of the Swedish soundtrack, which contains the original Swedish narration as first heard on the 20th of November, 1992. My request is simply to restore the original Swedish narration for Beauty and the Beast, because I myself don't have the means to the restoration myself. Can somebody please help?
