It sure as hell would, 4k 70mm from new film, sweet!

But will it be so?
It is my understanding that the BD will be sourced from the 2K general release version.

Let's not forget that the first BD's were, mostly, pretty shitty too. We may be seeing 4K+ sourced UHD-BD's in the future, but it would take a few years.

He was saying it would make for a great opportunity, but if they don't, then what a shame.

I was lucky to see a 35mm print of the special edition a few months back (a totally blissful 3 hours in the cinema). Quite a big fan of this film (especially if you check out my Facebook and IG pages) and collect various editions (home video formats and HDTV rips)

I'd love to hear the theatrical stereo from the Laserdisc at some point.

Very nice looking, thanks for sharing bigrob.

Personally, its nice to see what the colors look like too besides the aspect ratio. Its also funny Cameron wanted 1.90 instead of 1.85, since 1.90 is the DCP/DCI ratio.

First off, "Welcome to fanres!" Wink

Now, that being said, to the best of my knowledge, we don't posses a copy of the LD PCM and it would be a welcome addition to any potential future projectOk
