UPDATE:

checking the hard coded subs about Nigini (thanks to menzerin that have mentioned it), I noted that TVA capture has more image on all sides, in comparison to both Space and Freeform:





it seems to apply only to few shots of this very scene (still have to extensively check other scenes, though); this is interesting, as the subs are in different places, hence it could be possible to remove them, and instead use soft subs (perfect choice in particular for foreign languages, to avoid double subs). Still to discover if I'll be able to remove completely the rating logo, though!

UPDATE:

thanks to babouin (that sent me needed parts from a second source) now HP1 has an increased quality, and there is no need for BD cropped&upscaled parts anymore! First post updated accordingly.

I still say use the alternate shots from Sorceror's Stone (with the centaur, McGonnagal) with the Philosopher's Stone audio. I thought they came out nicely.

I've just replaced intro title and book, nothing else.

Do you think it's possible to make a seamless branching version of HP1 for the Philosopher's and Sorcerer's Stone scenes?

But, as the software to do that costs a lot, and I don't know how to do that, it will not happen, sadly...

UPDATE: working on HP8 right now... so far:

• Nova 1080p and Freeform 720p are now in sync
  
• Nova delogo'ed would be used to replace missing frames from Space and/or TVA
  
• first scene seems good now
