as I commented over at blu, the third does seem softer/muddier than the first 2, but I was expecting that or something similar, Azkaban was always the weakest image wise from all the originals I have seen. Considering that your copy is still really good, next stop Goblet of Fire. Thank you very much for sharing these gems with us all.

The third is not real Open Matte, but cropped (less than the 16:9 BD tho, as I understand). So, assuming they had a 2K master, it is somewhat zoomed in, hence softer.
