I wouldn't be surprised if one more time the new master is in complete sync with its Blu-ray predecessors. If so, the PCM track synced to prior Blu-rays should be just fine with the new remaster. It includes the original 4.0 Dolby Surround in lossless dts HDMA anyway, so that should be the equivalent.
On a side note, I noticed that they fixed the French track which now has the helicopter sound effect in the opening credits and in the end. Both Blu-rays had muted helicopter there on the French dub.

Do you mean that as a general rule or specific to that movie/studio?
Because the Mummy 1 UHD is not in sync with the old BD, for example.

I haven't really compared them tbh. I also don't have the equipment to play object-based audio, so there's that.

Yea, my very slow two pass took two days as well. Look forward to your findings on the PCM sync.

-417ms (10 frames) seems to appear in sync for the PCM 2.0 laserdisc sound. Await your findings Beber.
