It's probably because of this:
Theatrical Segments (00800.mpls): 702,703,704,705,706,707,708,709,710,711,712,713,714,715,716,717,718,719,720,721,722,723,724,725,726,727, 728,729,730,731,732

TC & DC is divided in m2ts files by scenes to fit on BD - 2in1.


DC Segments (00801.mpls): 702,687,704,688,706,689,708,690,710,691,712,692,714,693,716,694,718,695,720,696,722,697,724,698,726, 699,728,700,730,701,732

1147 clips is way more than the number of segments though. It looks as if the editor is going shot by shot. There must some sort of shot-detection tool built in to Resolve. I'd love one for AviSynth.
