I dunno about this being the movie that made Jackie Chan an international star.
I lost track of how many times I watched 'The Big Brawl' on HBO and VHS in the 80s. Googling it now turns out to really be called 'Battle Creek Brawl'.
But thanks for the heads up on this. His edited version looks really worth checking out.
Edit: I watched both his YouTube videos about Rumble in the Bronx and The Protector and have now subscribed to his channel. There is no denying his enthusiasm for these films and his edits.
And it takes massive stones to post direct download links right there in YouTube (The Protector links are in the description.)

Thanks for the heads up on this one!
I watched this a bunch on VHS back in the day. I've seen the version someone else made that combined the Miramax cut with the Cantonese audio, but the editing is so odd.

This was totally my Jackie Chan favorite movie growing up. I was about to get it on BD, but I'll wait and see if a english friendly extended HD version comes along down the line.

I see no mention here, but he has now released an excellent version of Police Story IV: First Strike and Danny the Dog (a Jet Li movie) that I'm not sure I care enough about.

Danny the Dog? I'm doing an edit of that... hopefully he hasn't done what I'm doing or it's all for nought...
