The extended version is normal Dolby Digital 5.1 on DVD. Is the 5.1 DTS-MA on the Blu-ray a different mix?

Hi, I have the signature collection in both R1 and R2 if you are interested.
The difference is the sig in R2 has the french track in DTS vs the R1 having the english as the main.

Nope, it predates the extended, however it has the best mix!

I finished patching the CDTS with the extended audio. All the extended scenes are just extra dialogue, so I just downmixed the 7.1 on the UHD and used that. It was a huge pain to edit, but I think the results turned out pretty well. I haven't given it a watch in the theater yet, but on headphones the edits are pretty seemless.
This is probably the most involved audio project I've done so far. Really curious to see what others think. Thanks given by: Hitcher , Red41804 , PDB , ActWatchBD , BDgeek

Gladiator is an all-time favorite for me. I still remember buying the DVD before my family even owned a DVD player. I used to take it over to my buddy's house since his Alienware computer had a DVD player so we could watch all the special features. I'd love to give this a listen in my theater as well and let you know.
