I've actually been playing around with overlaying the webrip onto the DVD, as the DVD has a bit of extra picture on both sides, however it was too involved. Much like my attempts with Ricochet, you get one shot lined up correctly and the next shot is completely off.
Just to confirm - are you saying you did find one in HD at 2:35:1? The only HD source I have been able to find is open matte.
