FYI you can scrap this project. Turbine Medien has released in 2018 the uncut version on Blu-ray in Germany, taking from a new scan of the uncut version. Quality looks really nice

Also they recently released (or going to release) a not so expensive edition 80 Euro with 8 discs, if I am not wrong.
They also reconstructed as bonus the localized German text inserts...
