Ghost in the Shell
They color timed Toy Story in post-production? I think my head exploded.

I recall a few years back there was an official 'At the Movies' archive of the TV show. I googled around hoping to find it (and a better quality video), but had no luck.

Not to derail the thread too much, did you mean YouTube -- Siskel & Ebert Toy Story (Year 1995) ?

[edit]
Uh ... okay ... one more link.   Big Grin   YouTube -- Toy Story (1995) - Split-screen Comparison: The Chase (Digital VS. 35mm) (1080p HD)

... and back to on-topic with this amazing item --> it's yours for a mere $3k ... actually $2,900, but if you're going to spend that much, you owe it to yourself to take your girlfriend / the Mrs. out on the town (so she doesn't kill you)  Eek  . .

And that's just for the "garbage man". Imagine if it was for "the major" (against a great background, of course)?

But it's real worth (not $3k) is for it's "original color". As it stands now, the seller's camera picture (without a calibration chart) could be anything. Assuming no wacky lighting and/or camera distorted spectrum, it looks pretty close to the blu-ray. I couldn't find the exact shot (from the blu-ray) online but this one should do for comparison:

Not yet bud, Ive only just found out about it's existence. (although I have been able to obtain a copy Smile)

It looks like the best transfer available on home video, but not native 4K by any means (Its also HDR).
The push toward Red seems to have gone which is another bonus Smile

Im limited in my viewing as I don't have a 4K screen and have to rely on MadVr or Avisynth to do a conversion.
For the best results I have to reencode using a Avisynth Script as it's to much for my P.C to handle in realtime playback.

Cool. It'll be interesting to hear what you and others think about this release.
