Possible for someone to upload the original stereo track from the DVD?

Like you I'm still looking for the laserdisc itself, but I do have an xvid rip if that's any help.

The new UK Blu Ray from EOne has player generated subtitles which would make restoring the original ones a lot easier!

Ah, interesting. I already have the French copy, which is also free of burnt-in subs, but I'd be interested to know if there are any other transfer differences in the UK edition. Are there any caps anywhere?

By the way, I have now picked up the LD, but haven't got around to doing anything with it. Maybe over Christmas (though I have another chunky project that will demand my attention before I get onto that!)

I will also take those subs, thanks a bunch. The stereo mix can be found with the old dvd at rutracker (a DVD5 uploaded on 8-Jan-10).

Well this is strange. IMDB lists the original sound mix as Mono, yet the Laserdisc is a Dolby Stereo Surround mix. Is IMDB wrong, or is the LD even using a new mix?

Most probably IMBD is wrong, as I think it's difficult they made a new mix for the laserdisc...
