WORKPRINTS - Master List
#31

It looked pristine, the first workprint I ever saw and it was like having a DVD copy. I can see from @spoRv's blog list that it turned out to be exact same copy as the released DVD.

As far as I know the only difference was that the theatrical release had a scene wipe between Obi Wan and C-3PO leaving Mustafar in the Naboo Cruiser and the close-up of Anakin's robotic hand as he is climbing up the gravel hill, whereas with the DVD it was a cut. The Blu-Ray version restored the scene wipe, added moss to the Wookiee hut rooftop on Kashyyyk and the 212th got audible dialogue as they launch their surprise attack on the Separatists on Utapau.
When this disc hits 8800 RPM, you're gonna see some serious shit.

I recall a TV version (either Back to the future or part II) that they used to show in the '90s had an alternate take of "What do we become like 'Jerks' or something" as it wasn't dubbed over like it is in the newer broadcasts (I'm assuming it was never scanned in HD). Anyone else recall this?

My friend introduced me to workprints years back. They are very interesting to see, especially with unseen scenes, special effects not there yet, alternate music and sometimes inserted storyboards in place of unfilmed scenes. One that stand out are the X:Men Origins: Wolverine, Hulk (2003), Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Scooby Doo (2002) and the Jason v Freddy workprints. To start with. I have viewed a lot of them though wish I could be able to see more.
