Please. It would be good to see the Zeist Special Edition again and finally see the Extended Zeist version too. PM me the details and let me know if you want my H2 EU cut and/or H1 French cut preservations.

I've just got this now, thanks for this, I really appreciate it. I've not watched it in full, but after spending some time going through and checking several scenes it seems that rather than a work print this is a low quality VHS recording of the First EU Theatrical Cut. I've heard that this was shown several times on US TV, so perhaps it originates from there. Interestingly it starts with PAL colour bars and seems to be time compressed, so that goes against the US TV theory. The effects, music and edits are exactly as they are in the EU Cut. Once I get a bit of time (probably this weekend) I'll watch this workprint in full and verify. Really interesting to see, and it gives me another version of the EU cut to compare against for accuracy in my preservation.

Thanks for these. I've got them both now and had a flick through. I think it was the Special Zeist version I saw back in the day. Looking forward to watching through this.

Hello,
First thing, this is probably the best thread I have ever read about the different cuts of Highlander films. A huge thanks to all in helping me increase my knowledge of the different cuts. Now, I know what to ask for to fill in the gaps with my collection.
Second, I saw a mention of a HD restoration of the US theatrical H1. Can someone point me to someone who can help me get that one. Also, does anyone have a VHS rip or laserdisc rip of the theatrical version of H1? The reason is that film will always have a special place with me.
Anyway, thanks again. I know that restoring these cuts isn't easy.
Blessings.
