Alien 3 (1992) [Fundamental Collection™ #003]
From the back cover: “Despite “Alien 3″ colors on Blu-ray editions are similar to the theatrical ones, they are still a bit off, and wrong on few scenes. In this edition, the same 2K master was used, but the one found in the PAL LD, from an interpositive scan, was taken as color reference, using our proprietary technique ColourMatch™.
We also added the usual multiple languages tracks – English, French, German, Italian and Spanish – along with an English commentary as special bonus tracks; subtitles for all the languages, plus French, German and Italian for the commentary.”

I really like the colour grade, in your comparison stills it looks alot more dynamic.
It would be nice to get the assembly cut graded like this also, but I suppose the first release of this match what we currently have on the Blu (?). And with this being a theatrical preservation probably moves out of that catagory.
From the description it sounds like you have had access to the 2K original negative?
If not it might be worth mentioning that you used the Bluray to avoid confusion (the same with your other releases).

Thanks!
That's a sort of experiment... I put on the cover things that people want to hear - they are not lies, but more of "marketing" tricks!
So, no 2K negative access... and, who wrote about using the BD as source?

I mentioned it somewhere else, but I would repeat it: thanks to MrBrown for the French, German and Spanish tracks and subs!

I like the colour correction very much. The updated regional score now fits perfectly (except the subtitles). While far the most releases nowadays are the special editions and pseudo director's cuts only, the theatrical FC versions are all the more appreciated.

Thanks for the review!
I checked, and the French, German and Spanish subtitles are indeed partly absent... I received the fixed audio tracks from a kind user, but I completely forgot to check subtitles - and ask for them... I've sent him a PM now, hope to hear him soon; if/when they'll be received, I'll post here.
